Public Meetings
Stay Informed and Share Your Feedback
To ensure all those within our communities have an opportunity to understand the decisions we make at COTA and provide input, we conduct a number of meetings throughout the year and encourage the public to attend. These include:
- Board of Trustees Meetings
- Special Selection Committee Meetings
- Fare Policy Meetings
- Service Change Meetings
- Other meetings as needed
When do service changes take place?
COTA makes changes to its service three times a year, typically on the first Monday of January, May and September. This includes schedule adjustments to improve travel times and modify service, as well as construction-related route changes.

Obtaining Copies of Our Meeting Records
COTA offers a variety of meeting minutes on this website. We also adhere to the state’s Public Records Act.
In accordance with the Ohio Revised Code, COTA deems public records as any documents, device or item, regardless of physical form or characteristic, created or received by or coming under the jurisdiction of any public office of the state or its political subdivisions, which serves to document the organization, functions, policies, decisions, procedures, operations or other activities of the office.
Anyone who requests records must identify the records requested with sufficient clarity to allow the public office to identify, retrieve and review the records.
A copy of COTA’s Public Records Policy is available upon request. You may submit a request by emailing PublicRecords@cota.com or calling 614-275-5800. Please visit our Codes & Policies page to learn more.
