Proposed Changes by Route

COTA is seeking public comment on proposed changes scheduled to take place on January 2, 2023. Select a line in the dropdown to learn more about how the proposed changes may impact your travel.

1 Kenny/Livingston

Service reduction Saturday and Sunday

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing Line 1 run every 30 minutes from Reynoldsburg to Carriage Place Shopping Center on Saturday and Sunday only. Service on weekdays will remain the same.

COTA is proposing 30-minute lineups on Line 1 near the Spring Street Transit Terminal on Saturday and Sunday only.

Lineups are scheduled times when most major lines arrive Downtown at the same time to provide transfer opportunities for passengers. Lineups would minimize the amount of time a rider spends waiting on their connecting route.

2 E Main/N High

Service reduction Saturday and Sunday

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing Line 2 run every 30 minutes from High St & Fenway Rd to Main St & Hanson St on Saturday and Sunday only. Service on weekdays will remain the same.

COTA is proposing 30-minute lineups on Line 2 near the Spring Street Transit Terminal on Saturday and Sunday only.

Lineups are scheduled times when most major lines arrive Downtown at the same time to provide transfer opportunities for passengers. Lineups would minimize the amount of time a rider spends waiting on their connecting route.

3 Northwest/Harrisburg

Lineups on Saturday and Sunday.

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing hourly lineups on Line 3 near the Spring Street Transit Terminal on Saturday and Sunday only.

Lineups are scheduled times when most major lines arrive Downtown at the same time to provide transfer opportunities for passengers. Lineups would minimize the amount of time a rider spends waiting on their connecting route.

4 Indianola/Lockbourne

Lineups on Saturday and Sunday.

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing hourly lineups on Line 4 at the Spring Street Transit Terminal on Saturday and Sunday only.

5 W 5th Ave/Refugee

Lineups on Saturday and Sunday.

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing 30-minute lineups on Line 5 near the Spring Street Transit Terminal on Saturday and Sunday only.

6 Sullivant

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing 30-minute lineups on Line 6 at the Spring Street Transit Terminal on Saturday and Sunday only.

7 Mt Vernon

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing 30-minute lineups on Line 7 at the Spring Street Transit Terminal on Saturday and Sunday only.

Lineups are scheduled times when most major lines arrive Downtown at the same time to provide transfer opportunities for passengers. Lineups would minimize the amount of time a rider spends waiting on their connecting route.

8 Karl/S High/Parsons

Frequency reduction and lineups on Saturday and Sunday.

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing Line 8 operate every 20 minutes between Boardwalk & Shapter and downtown Columbus. Line 8 would operate every 40 minutes south of downtown Monday through Friday only. On Saturday and Sunday, Line 8 would operate every 30 minutes.

10 E Broad/W Broad

Service reduction Saturday and Sunday

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing Line 10 run every 30 minutes from the Westwoods Park and Ride to Limited Brands on Saturday and Sunday only. Service on weekdays will remain the same.

11 Bryden/Maize

Lineups on Saturday and Sunday.

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing hourly lineups on Line 11 near the Spring Street Transit Terminal on Saturday and Sunday only.

22 OSU-Rickenbacker

Frequency improvement on Sunday.

COTA is proposing Line 22 operate every 30 minutes on Sunday. Service on weekdays and Saturday would remain the same.

33 Henderson

Service reduction Saturday and Sunday

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing Line 33 every 60 minutes between Broadmeadows & Sawmill Rd and every 2 hours to Olde Sawmill Square and Metrocenter on Saturday & Sunday only. Service on weekdays would remain the same.

61 Grove City

Service reduction Saturday and Sunday

In order to provide a simple, more direct route to and from the Grove City Park & Ride, COTA is proposing to remove Line 61 from Gantz Rd. Instead, Line 61 would remain on Stringtown Rd in both directions. All stops along Gantz Rd and Southpark Pl would be removed.

Customers impacted by this change are recommended to use COTA//Plus Grove City for travel into the Southpark Industrial Complex.

102 N High/Polaris Pkwy

Lineups on Saturday and Sunday.

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing hourly lineups on Line 102 near the Spring Street Transit Terminal on Saturday and Sunday only.

Lineups are scheduled times when most major lines arrive Downtown at the same time to provide transfer opportunities for passengers. Lineups would minimize the amount of time a rider spends waiting on their connecting route.

CMAX

Service reduction Saturday and Sunday

Due to an ongoing operator shortage, COTA is proposing CMAX run every 30 minutes from Westerville to downtown Columbus on Saturday and Sunday only. Service on weekdays will remain the same.
